حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يُعَذَّبُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ التَّوْحِيدِ فِي النَّارِ، حَتَّى يَكُونُوا حُمَمًا فِيهَا، ثُمَّ تُدْرِكُهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، فَيَخْرُجُونَ، فَيُلْقَوْنَ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَرُشُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْمَاءَ، فَيَنْبُتُونَ كَمَا يَنْبُتُ الْغُثَاءُ فِي حِمَالَةِ السَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Some people from among the monotheists will be punished in Hell; when they are burnt and become like coal, then Allah's mercy will come to their aid and they will be taken out of Hell and placed at the door of Paradise. The people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them, by which they will grow just as vegetation grows in the silt carried by a flood. Then they will enter Paradise.
