Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَأْتِي بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، وَنَحْنُ نُبْصِرُ مَوَاقِعَ النَّبْلِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to perform the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ), and then return to our homes, which were at a distance of one mile, and we could still see the place where an arrow would fall.
