حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَعَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ الثِّمَارُ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا، وَأَنْ تُبَاعَ سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade selling dates that are still on the trees in exchange for harvested dates by measure. It is also narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the sale and purchase of fruits before they ripen and the contracting of fruits for several years.
