Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَعَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ كَيْلًا (١) " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Yahya ibn Zakariya narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, from Ata, and from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "forbade selling what is in the tops of palm trees for dates by measure."
