Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَابَتْ لَهُ الشَّمْسُ بِسَرِفٍ،، ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى أَتَى مَكَّةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) set out from the place of Sarif at sunset, but performed the prayer upon reaching Makkah Mukarramah.
