حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ (٣) بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا، ، ذُكِرَ أَصْحَابُ أُحُدٍ: " أَمَا وَاللهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي غُودِرْتُ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ نُحْصِ الْجَبَلِ " (١) يَعْنِي سَفْحَ الْجَبَلِ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the companions of Uhud, I would hear him say, "I wish I had also been among those martyred in the surprise attack along with those on the top of the mountain."
