حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِكْرِمَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ، وَنَحْنُ مَعَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، (١) عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ حَلَفَ عِنْدَ مِنْبَرِي هَذَا عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ يَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا حَقَّ مُسْلِمٍ أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ النَّارَ، وَإِنْ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ أَخْضَرَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever, by swearing a false oath near my pulpit, usurps the right of a Muslim, Allah will surely admit him into Hell, even if it is because of a fresh miswak.
