حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَذْكُرُ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِكْرِمَةَ، (١) ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَعَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّهُمَا دَخَلَا عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّلَمِيِّ وَهُوَ " يُصَلِّي مُلْتَحِفًا وَرِدَاؤُهُ عَلَى جَدْرِ مَسْجِدِهِ فَصَلَّى "، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ لَنَا: إِنِّي (٢) إِنَّمَا صَلَّيْتُ لِتَرَيَانِي، " إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي هَكَذَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibrahim bin Abdur Rahman and Hasan bin Muhammad say that once we went to Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him). He was wrapped in a cloth and performing prayer, although another sheet was also near the wall of the mosque. When he finished the prayer with salam, he said: I did this so that you both could see; I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) doing this.
