حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ لَبَنٌ يَحْمِلُهُ مَكْشُوفًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَا كُنْتَ خَمَّرْتَهُ، وَلَوْ بِعُودٍ تَعْرِضُهُ عَلَيْهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Abu Humayd brought milk in a vessel to the Prophet (ﷺ) early in the morning. The Prophet said: Why did you not cover it, even if only with a piece of wood?
