حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مَاعِزٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيَأْكُلُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ وَيَشْرَبُونَ، وَلَا يَبُولُونَ فِيهَا، وَلَا يَتَغَوَّطُونَ، وَلَا يَتَنَخَّمُونَ، إِنَّمَا يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ جُشَاءً، وَرَشْحًا كَرَشْحِ الْمِسْكِ، وَيُلْهَمُونَ التَّسْبِيحَ وَالتَّحْمِيدَ، كَمَا تُلْهَمُونَ النَّفَسَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: In Paradise, the people of Paradise will eat, but they will neither defecate nor urinate, nor will they blow their noses or spit. Their food will be digested with a single burp, and their sweat will have the fragrance of musk. And they will glorify and praise (Allah) as naturally as they breathe.
