Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ، عَنْ مَاعِزٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ، ، يَئِسَ أَنْ يَعْبُدَهُ الْمُصَلُّونَ، وَلَكِنْ فِي التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَهُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Satan has despaired of ever being worshipped again in your prayer, but he is determined to sow discord among you.
