Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا يَمْرَضُ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٌ، وَلَا مُسْلِمٌ وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٌ، إِلَّا حَطَّ اللهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ خَطَيئَتَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: When any believing man or woman, or any Muslim man or woman falls ill, Allah forgives his or her sins.
