حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " غِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Hardness of hearts and oppression and harshness are found among the people of the East, and faith is among the people of Hijaz."
