حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي حَرْبٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى امْرَأَةً فَأَعْجَبَتْهُ، فَأَتَى زَيْنَبَ وَهِيَ تَمْعَسُ مَنِيئَةً، فَقَضَى مِنْهَا حَاجَتَهُ، وَقَالَ: " إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ تُقْبِلُ فِي صُورَةِ شَيْطَانٍ، وَتُدْبِرُ فِي صُورَةِ شَيْطَانٍ، فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَةً فَأَعْجَبَتْهُ، فَلْيَأْتِ أَهْلَهُ، فَإِنَّ ذَلكَ يَرُدُّ مِمَّا فِي نَفْسِهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a woman who pleased him. The Prophet (ﷺ) immediately went to his noble wife, Sayyidah Zainab, who at that time was tanning a hide, and fulfilled his physical needs with her. He then said: "A woman comes in the form of Satan. Whoever among you sees a woman and she pleases him, he should go to his wife, for this will remove the thoughts that have arisen in his heart."
