Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a young man from Banu Salamah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: I saw a rabbit, I struck it with stones and pebbles. At that time, I did not have any iron-bladed object with which I could slaughter it, so I slaughtered it with a sharp-edged stone. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: You may eat it.
