حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يُسْأَلُ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْهَدْيِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " ارْكَبْهَا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، إِذَا أُلْجِئْتَ إِلَيْهَا، حَتَّى تَجِدَ ظَهْرًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Someone asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about riding on the sacrificial animal. He replied that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: If you are compelled, you may ride it in a good manner until you find another ride.
