Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ، يَقُولُ:، ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ قَالَ: " إِنَّا (١) كُنَّا نَتَزَوَّدُ مِنْ وَشِيقِ الْحَجِّ، حَتَّى يَكَادَ يَحُولُ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to use the leftover provisions from Hajj, and nearly the entire year would pass by relying on it.
