حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ النَّاجِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَصْحَابِهِ الظُّهْرَ، قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا حَبَسَكَ يَا فُلَانُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ؟ " قَالَ: فَذَكَرَ شَيْئًا اعْتَلَّ بِهِ، قَالَ: فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَا رَجُلٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَى هَذَا فَيُصَلِّيَ مَعَهُ " قَالَ: فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ فَصَلَّى مَعَهُ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) in the Zuhr prayer. After the prayer, a man came; the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "What prevented you from performing the prayer?" He mentioned a reason and intended to pray. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Who will give charity to him by praying with him?" Upon this, a man went and prayed with him.
