حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُتَعَالِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: " ذُكِرَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: إِنَّهُ يَزْعُمُ، أَنَّهُ لَا يَمُرُّ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا كَلَّمَهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the mention of Ibn Sayyad was made in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ), so Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he thinks that wherever he passes by, everything starts talking to him.
