Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) wore a new garment, he would first mention its name, for example, shirt or turban, then he would recite this supplication: O Allah! All praise is due to You, for You have clothed me with this garment. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it was made for, and I seek refuge with You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for.
