Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Once Jibreel (peace be upon him) led me in prayer. So he led the Zuhr prayer at the time when the sun had declined, the Asr prayer at the time when the shadow was equal to the object, the Maghrib prayer at sunset, the Isha prayer after the disappearance of twilight, and the Fajr prayer after the dawn had appeared. Then the next day he came again and led the Zuhr prayer when the shadow of everything had become equal to it, the Asr prayer when the shadow was twice its length, the Maghrib prayer at sunset, the Isha prayer in the first third of the night, and the Fajr prayer at the time when the sun was about to rise, and he said: The time for prayer is between these two times.
