Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man saw a snake in his house. He picked up his spear and struck the snake, injuring it, but did not kill it. Rather, the snake attacked and killed the man. When the Prophet (ﷺ) was informed of this incident, he said: "Some of those who live with you are also among those who inhabit (the earth). When you see them, first advise them to leave three times. If they still appear after that, then kill them."
