حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىَّ، قَالَ: نَزَلَ أَهْلُ قُرَيْظَةَ عَلَى حُكْمِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى سَعْدٍ، فَأَتَاهُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا دَنَا قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قُومُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِكُمْ - أَوْ خَيْرِكُمْ - "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِكَ " قَالَ: تُقْتَلُ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ وَتُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ (١) ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَقَدْ قَضَيْتَ بِحُكْمِ اللهِ " وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: " قَضَيْتَ بِحُكْمِ الْمَلِكِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the people of Banu Qurayza agreed to surrender their weapons according to the decision of Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), and he came riding on his mount. When he reached near the mosque, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Stand up to welcome your leader." Then he said to him, "These people are ready to surrender their weapons according to your decision." He submitted, "You should have their fighting men killed and their children taken as captives." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have given the same decision as Allah's decision."
