Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The world is lush, green, and sweet. Allah will make you successors in it to see what deeds you perform. Beware! Fear the world and fear women, for the first trial for the Children of Israel was through women. Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the people of Banu Qurayza agreed to surrender their weapons on the decision of Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him). (The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), and he came riding his mount. When he reached near the mosque, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Stand up to welcome your leader. Then he said to him: These people are ready to surrender their weapons on your decision.) He submitted: You should have their fighting men killed and their children taken as captives. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: You have given the same decision as Allah’s decision. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
