Rabbi-shrah li sodri, wa yassir li amri, wahlul uqdatan min lisani yafqohu qawli

O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, in Your Mercy I seek relief.’

2nd Dua for Distress

The 2nd Dua was recited by Prophet Yunus a.s. as he placed his hope and reliance upon Allah despite being stranded in the belly of a whale, isolated from even the slightest glimpse of light or hope, and recited the following invocations:

 La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin
