UK, US, and EU Pilgrims can Get Visa On Arrival In Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has announced that visitors from the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union will be able to obtain a visa on arrival. While visitors from GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) will be able to obtain a visa online.

Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb signed a decree “to make it quicker and easier to visit Saudi Arabia,” the government said.

“The kingdom has issued over one million visas Since the launch of the e-visa system,” Al-Khateeb said in the press conference.

Under the new regulations, GCC residents will have the option to apply for an e-visa online through their Website

to simplify the process more, The kingdom has also canceled the requirement for many visitors to report to their country’s embassy before entering Saudi Arabia.

Also Holders of a valid tourist or business visa to the UK, US, or the Schengen zone countries can apply for a visa on arrival, provided that the other visa has been used at least once to enter the issuing country.

Mr Al Khateeb says.“Elevating the visitor experience is at the heart of the tourism sector’s future,”

He mentioned the move was part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and an important step in developing a sustainable, resilient and competitive tourism sector.
