وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًا
1
wal-dhāriyāti dharwan
— Transliteration
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing
— Saheeh International
Reciter:
Surah 51 · 60 verses

51 130
127
وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًا
1
wal-dhāriyāti dharwan
— Transliteration
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing
— Saheeh International
فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًا
2
fal-ḥāmilāti wiq'ran
— Transliteration
And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]
— Saheeh International
فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًا
3
fal-jāriyāti yus'ran
— Transliteration
And those [ships] sailing with ease
— Saheeh International
فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا
4
fal-muqasimāti amran
— Transliteration
And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,
— Saheeh International
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
5
innamā tūʿadūna laṣādiqun
— Transliteration
Indeed, what you are promised is true.
— Saheeh International
وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
6
wa-inna l-dīna lawāqiʿun
— Transliteration
And indeed, the recompense is to occur.
— Saheeh International
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ
7
wal-samāi dhāti l-ḥubuki
— Transliteration
By the heaven containing pathways,
— Saheeh International
إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ
8
innakum lafī qawlin mukh'talifin
— Transliteration
Indeed, you are in differing speech.
— Saheeh International
يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
9
yu'faku ʿanhu man ufika
— Transliteration
Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.
— Saheeh International
قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ
10
qutila l-kharāṣūna
— Transliteration
Destroyed are the falsifiers
— Saheeh International
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
11
alladhīna hum fī ghamratin sāhūna
— Transliteration
Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.
— Saheeh International
يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
12
yasalūna ayyāna yawmu l-dīni
— Transliteration
They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"
— Saheeh International
يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
13
yawma hum ʿalā l-nāri yuf'tanūna
— Transliteration
[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire
— Saheeh International
ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
14
dhūqū fit'natakum hādhā alladhī kuntum bihi tastaʿjilūna
— Transliteration
[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."
— Saheeh International
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
15
inna l-mutaqīna fī jannātin waʿuyūnin
— Transliteration
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,
— Saheeh International
ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ
16
ākhidhīna mā ātāhum rabbuhum innahum kānū qabla dhālika muḥ'sinīna
— Transliteration
Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.
— Saheeh International
كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
17
kānū qalīlan mina al-layli mā yahjaʿūna
— Transliteration
They used to sleep but little of the night,
— Saheeh International
وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
18
wabil-asḥāri hum yastaghfirūna
— Transliteration
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,
— Saheeh International
وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
19
wafī amwālihim ḥaqqun lilssāili wal-maḥrūmi
— Transliteration
And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.
— Saheeh International
وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
20
wafī l-arḍi āyātun lil'mūqinīna
— Transliteration
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]
— Saheeh International
وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
21
wafī anfusikum afalā tub'ṣirūna
— Transliteration
And in yourselves. Then will you not see?
— Saheeh International
وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
22
wafī l-samāi riz'qukum wamā tūʿadūna
— Transliteration
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.
— Saheeh International
فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ
23
fawarabbi l-samāi wal-arḍi innahu laḥaqqun mith'la mā annakum tanṭiqūna
— Transliteration
Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.
— Saheeh International
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
24
hal atāka ḥadīthu ḍayfi ib'rāhīma l-muk'ramīna
— Transliteration
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -
— Saheeh International
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
25
idh dakhalū ʿalayhi faqālū salāman qāla salāmun qawmun munkarūna
— Transliteration
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.
— Saheeh International
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
26
farāgha ilā ahlihi fajāa biʿij'lin samīnin
— Transliteration
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf
— Saheeh International
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
27
faqarrabahu ilayhim qāla alā takulūna
— Transliteration
And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"
— Saheeh International
فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
28
fa-awjasa min'hum khīfatan qālū lā takhaf wabasharūhu bighulāmin ʿalīmin
— Transliteration
And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.
— Saheeh International
فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
29
fa-aqbalati im'ra-atuhu fī ṣarratin faṣakkat wajhahā waqālat ʿajūzun ʿaqīmun
— Transliteration
And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"
— Saheeh International
قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
30
qālū kadhāliki qāla rabbuki innahu huwa l-ḥakīmu l-ʿalīmu
— Transliteration
They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."
— Saheeh International
۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
31
qāla famā khaṭbukum ayyuhā l-mur'salūna
— Transliteration
[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"
— Saheeh International
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
32
qālū innā ur'sil'nā ilā qawmin muj'rimīna
— Transliteration
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals
— Saheeh International
لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ
33
linur'sila ʿalayhim ḥijāratan min ṭīnin
— Transliteration
To send down upon them stones of clay,
— Saheeh International
مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
34
musawwamatan ʿinda rabbika lil'mus'rifīna
— Transliteration
Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."
— Saheeh International
فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
35
fa-akhrajnā man kāna fīhā mina l-mu'minīna
— Transliteration
So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.
— Saheeh International
فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
36
famā wajadnā fīhā ghayra baytin mina l-mus'limīna
— Transliteration
And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.
— Saheeh International
وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ
37
wataraknā fīhā āyatan lilladhīna yakhāfūna l-ʿadhāba l-alīma
— Transliteration
And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.
— Saheeh International
وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
38
wafī mūsā idh arsalnāhu ilā fir'ʿawna bisul'ṭānin mubīnin
— Transliteration
And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.
— Saheeh International
فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
39
fatawallā biruk'nihi waqāla sāḥirun aw majnūnun
— Transliteration
But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."
— Saheeh International
فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
40
fa-akhadhnāhu wajunūdahu fanabadhnāhum fī l-yami wahuwa mulīmun
— Transliteration
So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.
— Saheeh International
وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ
41
wafī ʿādin idh arsalnā ʿalayhimu l-rīḥa l-ʿaqīma
— Transliteration
And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.
— Saheeh International
مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ
42
mā tadharu min shayin atat ʿalayhi illā jaʿalathu kal-ramīmi
— Transliteration
It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.
— Saheeh International
وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
43
wafī thamūda idh qīla lahum tamattaʿū ḥattā ḥīnin
— Transliteration
And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."
— Saheeh International
فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
44
faʿataw ʿan amri rabbihim fa-akhadhathumu l-ṣāʿiqatu wahum yanẓurūna
— Transliteration
But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.
— Saheeh International
فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ
45
famā is'taṭāʿū min qiyāmin wamā kānū muntaṣirīna
— Transliteration
And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.
— Saheeh International
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ
46
waqawma nūḥin min qablu innahum kānū qawman fāsiqīna
— Transliteration
And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.
— Saheeh International
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
47
wal-samāa banaynāhā bi-aydin wa-innā lamūsiʿūna
— Transliteration
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.
— Saheeh International
وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ
48
wal-arḍa farashnāhā faniʿ'ma l-māhidūna
— Transliteration
And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.
— Saheeh International
وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
49
wamin kulli shayin khalaqnā zawjayni laʿallakum tadhakkarūna
— Transliteration
And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.
— Saheeh International
فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
50
fafirrū ilā l-lahi innī lakum min'hu nadhīrun mubīnun
— Transliteration
So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.
— Saheeh International
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51
walā tajʿalū maʿa l-lahi ilāhan ākhara innī lakum min'hu nadhīrun mubīnun
— Transliteration
And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.
— Saheeh International
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
52
kadhālika mā atā alladhīna min qablihim min rasūlin illā qālū sāḥirun aw majnūnun
— Transliteration
Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."
— Saheeh International
أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
53
atawāṣaw bihi bal hum qawmun ṭāghūna
— Transliteration
Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.
— Saheeh International
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ
54
fatawalla ʿanhum famā anta bimalūmin
— Transliteration
So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.
— Saheeh International
وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
55
wadhakkir fa-inna l-dhik'rā tanfaʿu l-mu'minīna
— Transliteration
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
— Saheeh International
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
56
wamā khalaqtu l-jina wal-insa illā liyaʿbudūni
— Transliteration
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
— Saheeh International
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ
57
mā urīdu min'hum min riz'qin wamā urīdu an yuṭ'ʿimūni
— Transliteration
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
— Saheeh International
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ
58
inna l-laha huwa l-razāqu dhū l-quwati l-matīnu
— Transliteration
Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.
— Saheeh International
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
59
fa-inna lilladhīna ẓalamū dhanūban mith'la dhanūbi aṣḥābihim falā yastaʿjilūni
— Transliteration
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.
— Saheeh International
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
60
fawaylun lilladhīna kafarū min yawmihimu alladhī yūʿadūna
— Transliteration
And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
— Saheeh International
