Chapter 1
It is narrated from Qabeesah that once I took the responsibility of paying off someone’s debt, and in this regard, I went to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a request for assistance. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “We will pay this debt on your behalf and will take out this amount from the animals of charity.” Then he said, “Qabeesah! Except for three situations, it is not permissible to ask (beg) in any case. First, the person who becomes a guarantor for someone’s debt, it is permissible for him to ask until he pays off that debt, and then he should refrain from asking. Second, the person who is so needy and afflicted by hunger that three trustworthy men from his people testify to his neediness or destitution, then it is permissible for him to ask until he finds some means of livelihood, then he should refrain from asking. Third, the person upon whom some sudden calamity befalls and all his wealth is destroyed, then it is permissible for him to ask until he finds some means of livelihood, then he should refrain from asking. In any other case, asking is forbidden. O Qabeesah, then the one who asks will be consuming what is unlawful.”

It is narrated from Qabeesah bin Mukhaariq that once I presented myself in the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Qabeesah, what brings you here?" I submitted, "I have become old and my bones have become weak. I have come to you so that you may teach me something by which Allah will benefit me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Qabeesah, every stone, tree, or clod of earth that you passed by on your way here has sought forgiveness for you. O Qabeesah, when you perform the Fajr prayer, say three times: 'Subhan Allahil Azeem wa bihamdihi.' You will be protected from blindness, leprosy, and paralysis. And Qabeesah, recite this supplication: 'O Allah, I ask You for that which is with You. Bestow Your grace upon me, expand Your mercy for me, and send down Your blessings upon me.'"

(١)، ،
It is narrated from Qabeesah bin Mukhaariq that when the verse "And warn your nearest relatives" was revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), he climbed to the top of a mountain and called out, "O descendants of Abd Manaf, listen to the words of a warner! My example and yours is like that of a person who, upon seeing the enemy, goes out to warn the people of the area and begins to call out 'Ya Sabahah!'"

Isma'il narrated to us, from al-Taymi, from Abu 'Uthman, from Qabisah ibn Mukhariq, and Zuhayr ibn 'Amr, who said: When (And warn your nearest kindred __QUR_26_214__) was revealed, he mentioned something similar to it.

It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), there was once a solar eclipse. The Prophet (ﷺ) hurriedly came out, dragging his garment, and reached the mosque. The people also came quickly. The Prophet (ﷺ) performed two rak'ahs until the sun became completely bright. The Prophet (ﷺ) turned towards us and said: "The sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah by which Allah frightens His servants. They do not eclipse because of anyone's death. In fact, on that very day, the son of the Prophet (ﷺ), Ibrahim, had passed away. Whenever you see such a thing, perform prayer and supplicate until the calamity is over."
