Hadith of Al-Bayyadi (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ الْبَيَاضِيِّ، ١٩٠٢٢ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ، مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ التَّمَّارِّ، عَنِ الْبَيَاضِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ وَقَدْ عَلَتْ أَصْوَاتُهُمْ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ الْمُصَلِّي يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ مَا يُنَاجِيهِ، وَلَا يَجْهَرْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِالْقُرْآنِ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from Bayazi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to the people while they were praying, and during the recitation of the Qur'an their voices were being raised. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A person who is praying is supplicating to his Lord, so he should see to whom he is supplicating, and you should not raise your voices over one another while reciting the Qur'an."
