Hadith of a man from Banu Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، ١٨٢٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ جُرَيٍّ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ: عَقَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي يَدِهِ أَوْ فِي يَدِي فَقَالَ: " سُبْحَانَ اللهِ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ تَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَالطُّهُورُ نِصْفُ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالصَّوْمُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from a companion of Banu Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) counted these things on the fingers of his blessed hand: "Subhan Allah" is equal to half the scale of deeds, "Alhamdulillah" fills the scale of deeds, the word "Allahu Akbar" fills all the space between the earth and the sky, cleanliness is half of faith, and fasting is half of patience.
