Addition to the hadith of Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Qurad (may Allah be pleased with him)

زِيَادَةُ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي قُرَادٍ، ١٨٠٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، وَعُمَارَةُ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي قُرَادٍ، قَالَ: " خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَاجًّا " قَالَ: " فَرَأَيْتُهُ خَرَجَ مِنَ الخَلَاءِ "، فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ بِالْإِدَاوَةِ أَوِ الْقَدَحِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا أَرَادَ حَاجَةً أَبْعَدَ، فَجَلَسْتُ لَهُ بِالطَّرِيقِ حَتَّى انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الْوَضُوءَ، قَالَ: " فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِلَيَّ فَصَبَّ عَلَى يَدِهِ فَغَسَلَهَا، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ، فَكَفَّهَا (١) ، فَصَبَّ عَلَى يَدِهِ (٢) وَاحِدَة، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ قَبَضَ الْمَاءَ قَبْضًا (٣) بِيَدِهِ، فَضَرَبَ بِهِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ قَدَمِهِ، فَمَسَحَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى قَدَمِهِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَصَلَّى لَنَا الظُّهْرَ " (٤)، ،

It is narrated from Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I set out with the intention of Hajj with the Prophet (ﷺ). I saw that the Prophet (ﷺ) came out of the toilet, so I followed behind the Prophet (ﷺ) carrying a water vessel and sat down on the way. It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (ﷺ) that he used to go far away to relieve himself. When the Prophet (ﷺ) returned, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! (ﷺ) Water for ablution is present." The Prophet (ﷺ) came, poured water over his hands and washed them, then put his hands in the vessel and poured water, and wiped his head. Then he took a handful of water in his hand, poured it on the back of his foot, and rubbed it with his hand. Then he came and led us in the Zuhr prayer.
