Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٩٧١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ شُفْعَةَ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُ يُقَالُ لِلْوِلْدَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ: ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ ". قَالَ: " فَيَقُولُونَ: يَا رَبِّ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ (١) آبَاؤُنَا وَأُمَّهَاتُنَا "، قَالَ: " فَيَأْتُونَ " (٢) ، قَالَ: " فَيَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَا لِي أَرَاهُمْ مُحْبَنْطِئِينَ، ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ "، قَالَ: " فَيَقُولُونَ: يَا رَبِّ آبَاؤُنَا (٣) "، قَالَ: " فَيَقُولُ: ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ " (٤)، ،

It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: "On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to the small children, 'Enter Paradise.' They will say, 'O Lord! Not until our parents also enter Paradise.' Allah Almighty will say, 'Why do I see them arguing with Me? Enter Paradise.' They will again say, 'O Lord! Our parents as well?' Allah Almighty will say, 'You and your parents, all of you, enter Paradise.'"
