Hadith of Junadah ibn Umayyah and men from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)...

حَدِيثُ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ وَرِجَالٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٥٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، أَنَّ جُنَادَةَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ، فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أُنَاسًا يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ مَا كَانَ الْجِهَادُ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Junadah bin Abu Umayyah, may Allah be pleased with him, that some of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were of the opinion that the command of migration (Hijrah) had ended, while others held a different view. So I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Some people say that migration has ended? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Migration does not end as long as there is jihad.
