Hadith of Abu al-Nu'man al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ أَبِي النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ١٥٩٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اكْتَحِلُوا بِالْإِثْمِدِ الْمُرَوَّحِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Ma'bad bin Huwzah, who met the Prophet (peace be upon him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Apply the cool antimony called Ithmid, for it sharpens the eyesight and causes the eyelashes to grow.
