Hadith of Bishr or Bashr from the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ بِشْرٍ أَوْ بُسْرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٥٦٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ هُوَ أَبُو بِسْرٍ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ نَارٌ مِنْ حُبْسِ سَيَلٍ، تَسِيرُ سَيْرَ (١) بَطِيئَةِ الْإِبِلِ، تَسِيرُ النَّهَارَ وَتُقِيمُ اللَّيْلَ، تَغْدُو وَتَرُوحُ، يُقَالُ: غَدَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَاغْدُوا، قَالَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَأَقِيلُوا (٢) ، رَاحَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، فَرُوحُوا. مَنْ أَدْرَكَتْهُ أَكَلَتْهُ " (٣)، ،

It is narrated from Bishr or Basr that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Soon a fire will emerge from Habas Sail which will move like the slowest camel; it will travel during the day and halt at night. This will continue morning and evening. It will be announced: O people, the fire has started, so you should also move on. The fire will say: O people, take your midday rest; the fire has started, so you should also move on. Whoever gets caught in its grasp, it will consume him.
