Hadith of Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ (١)، ٢٧٦١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَهَا بِقَتْلِ الْأَوْزَاغِ " (٢)،

It is narrated from Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered the killing of the lizard.

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ شَرِيكٍ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَيَفِرَّنَّ النَّاسُ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ فِي الْجِبَالِ " قَالَتْ: أُمُّ شَرِيكٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَأَيْنَ الْعَرَبُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: " كُلُّهُمْ قَلِيلٌ " (٣)، ،

It is narrated from Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: "A time will certainly come when people will flee from the Dajjal and take refuge in the mountains." Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Where will the Arabs be on that day?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "They will be very few."

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ، أَنَّهَا " كَانَتْ مِمَّنْ (١) وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was among those women who offered herself to the Prophet (ﷺ) as a gift.
