Hadith of Khawlah bint Thamir al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ ثَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ (١)، ٢٧٣١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ ثَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ رِجَالًا يَتَخَوَّضُونَ (٢) فِي مَالِ اللهِ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَهُمُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٣)، ،

It is narrated from Khawlah bint Thamir (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The world is lush and sweet, and there are many intruders in the wealth of Allah and His Messenger, who will be admitted to Hell on the Day they meet Allah."
