Hadith of Sahla bint Suhayl ibn 'Amr and the wife of Abu Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with them)

حَدِيثُ سَهْلَةَ بِنْتِ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو امْرَأَةِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ (١) رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ (٢)، ٢٧٠٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلَةَ، امْرَأَةِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ سَالِمًا مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيَّ، وَهُوَ ذُو لِحْيَةٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَرْضِعِيهِ ". فَقَالَتْ: كَيْفَ أُرْضِعُهُ وَهُوَ ذُو لِحْيَةٍ؟ فَأَرْضَعَتْهُ، فَكَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا (٣)، ،

It is narrated from Sahla (may Allah be pleased with her) that she once submitted in the court of the Prophet: O Messenger of Allah! Abu Hudhaifah’s slave Salim comes to me and he has a beard. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Give him your milk to drink. She said: How can I give him milk to drink when he has a beard on his face? Eventually, she gave Salim her milk to drink, and then he used to come and go to her place.
