حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى، الْأَنْبِيَاءُ إِخْوَةٌ أَوْلَادُ عَلَّاتٍ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ نَبِيٌّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Among all people, I am the closest to Jesus (peace be upon him). All the prophets (peace be upon them) are paternal brothers. There is no prophet between me and Jesus (peace be upon him)."
