حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرَ (٣) بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي الْأَعْرَجَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى، الْأَنْبِيَاءُ أَبْنَاءُ عَلَّاتٍ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عِيسَى نَبِيٌّ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Among all people, I am the closest to Jesus (peace be upon him). All the prophets (peace be upon them) are paternal brothers. There is no prophet between me and Jesus (peace be upon him)."
