حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ:، ، رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَسْجُدُ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ، فَقُلْتُ: أَتَسْجُدُ فِيهَا؟ فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ رَأَيْتُ خَلِيلِي يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا، وَلَا أَزَالُ أَسْجُدُ فِيهَا حَتَّى أَلْقَاهُ "، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: قُلْتُ: النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Rafi’ says that once I saw Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) performing a prostration of recitation in Surah Inshiqaq. I asked him about it, and he replied, “My beloved (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) performed a prostration at this verse, so I will continue to perform a prostration at this verse until I meet the Noble Prophet (ﷺ).”
