حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّكُمْ سَتَحْرِصُونَ عَلَى الْإِمَارَةِ، وَسَتَصِيرُ نَدَامَةً وَحَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَنِعْمَتِ الْمُرْضِعَةُ، وَبِئْسَتِ الْفَاطِمَةُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet, the Leader of both worlds, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Soon you will desire and covet rulership, but this rulership will be a cause of regret and remorse on the Day of Resurrection. Thus, it is the best of wet nurses and the worst of weaners.
