حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ مَثَلُ نَهْرٍ جَارٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ، يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَمَاذَا يُبْقِينَ مِنْ دَرَنِهِ؟ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The example of the five prayers is like that of a stream flowing at the door of one of you, in which he bathes five times a day. What do you think—will any dirt remain on his body?
