حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ اللَّجْلَاجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَجْتَمِعُ الشُّحُّ وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي جَوْفِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَدُخَانُ جَهَنَّمَ فِي جَوْفِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Faith and miserliness cannot coexist in the heart of a Muslim, just as the dust from striving in the way of Allah and the smoke of Hell cannot coexist in the nostrils of a Muslim.
