Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever kills himself with a sharp instrument (commits suicide), that sharp instrument will be in his hand with which he will continue to stab his belly in the Hellfire, and he will remain there forever and ever. Whoever drinks poison and kills himself, that poison will be in his hand, and he will continue to sip it in the Hellfire, and he will remain there forever and ever. And whoever strangles himself to death, he will continue to strangle himself in the Hellfire.
