حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ، يُدْعَى لَهَا الْأَغْنِيَاءُ، وَيُدْفَعُ عَنْهَا الْفُقَرَاءُ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ الدَّعْوَةَ، فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out, and whoever does not accept the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ).
