Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Among the Children of Israel, there was a woman who was breastfeeding her son. By chance, a rider wearing embroidered clothes passed by. The woman said, "O Allah, make my child like him." The child left his mother's breast, turned towards the rider, and said, "O Allah, do not make me like him," and then started suckling again. After a while, some people passed by, taking along a slave woman (whom they were beating on the way). The woman said, "I seek Allah's protection for my child that he may not die like this Abyssinian woman." The child immediately stopped suckling and said, "O Allah, make me like her." The mother asked the child, "Why did you wish for this?" The child replied, "That rider was a tyrant (so I prayed not to be like him), and people are abusing this slave woman, oppressing her, and she keeps saying, 'Allah is sufficient for me.'"
