Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Allah, it is much better that one of you takes a rope, goes to the mountains, cuts wood, sells it, and through this becomes independent of people, rather than going to people and asking them (for something), whether they give him something or not, as per their wish.
