حَدَّثَنَا هَوْذَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ خِلَاسٍ، وَمُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا صَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمًا فَنَسِيَ، فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ، فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ، فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ وَسَقَاهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When any one of you is fasting and forgetfully eats or drinks something, he should still complete his fast, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink.
