حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِ لُوطٍ: {لَوْ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ آوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ} [هود: ٨٠] ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَانَ (١) يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ إِلَى رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " فَمَا بَعَثَ اللهُ بَعْدَهُ (٢) نَبِيٌّا إِلَّا فِي ثَرْوَةٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), in the explanation of "If only I had strength with you..." said: Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) was seeking the support of a strong pillar. After him, whichever prophet Allah sent, He made them from among the wealthy people of their nation.
